Moody’s Investors Service has published an updated credit opinion on Asian-Pacific Bank: Ratings and outlook are left unchanged
On March 20, 2015 due to updated methodology for rating banks international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service has published an updated credit opinion on Asian-Pacific Bank. Ratings and outlook are left unchanged. Long-term global local- and foreign-currency deposit rating is kept at B2 with negative outlook, the baseline credit assessment (BCA) is b2.

Among the positive factors influencing its conclusion, the agency citied healthy capital buffer which provides the Bank with good loss-absorption. On top of that, the bank is less than peers exposed to risks stemming from unsecured lending and it has a more diversified loan book structure compared with most of retail banks.
